Osaliki Sepúlveda , Board Member
Collective for Arts Music and Dance Executive and Creative Director
With over two decades devoted to immersive folkloric research and artistic performance, Osaliki Sepúlveda stands as a versatile multidisciplinary artist deeply rooted in his cultural heritage. In 2019, Osaliki founded The Collective for Arts Music & Dance (C4AMD), a non-profit organization dedicated to uplifting low-income communities through innovative Folk and traditional arts programs. By seamlessly integrating cultural education with preventive services like mental health initiatives and physical wellness programs, C4AMD endeavors to empower individuals and communities, fostering a profound sense of identity and well-being.
Prior to establishing the Collective for Arts Music and Dance, Osaliki served as the director of the Alianza Dominicana Cultural Center for close to five years. In this influential role, he spearheaded citywide cultural programs, provided platforms for independent artists and arts organizations, and oversaw daily cultural operations. Managing a substantial yearly operational budget, Osaliki’s leadership extended to curating gallery exhibitions, orchestrating performance schedules, and securing funding from prestigious sources such as the NEA, DCLA, NYSCA, and NYFA.

Artistic Excellence
At the core of my artistic philosophy lies a commitment to excellence, defined by the originality and creativity infused into my work. I measure this excellence not only by the impact it creates within the artistic community but also by the transformative effects it has on the broader community it serves. Collaborating with fellow artists is not just a creative endeavor but an opportunity to inspire and elevate each other, contributing to a collective pursuit of artistic excellence. Through this shared journey, my work aims not only to innovate but also to leave a lasting impression, enriching the cultural fabric of our society.
